Frequently Asked Questions
If only I had a nickel for every time a client has said to me…
“I know I should have contacted you sooner, but I was trying to get everything in order first”
If you are on this page to determine what steps you need to take before scheduling a consultation with me, let me reassure you…the only thing you need to do is reach out.
No matter what your current accounting and tax situation looks like – we can help! Even if you’re saying things like…

But all my receipts are “filed” in recycled boxes. Shouldn’t I organize them before I come see you?
Not necessary. Our team can help you get organized and create systems for you to maintain accurate future record keeping.

But I’m behind on my taxes, do I need to be current for you to help me?
No. In fact, this is the perfect time for us to look at your current situation together. We understand that this can be a very stressful situation but developing an action plan and implementing systems to ensure compliance moving forward can help reduce that stress.

I still handwrite my employees’ paychecks – can you help me?
Yes! No matter how you are currently processing payroll, our team can meet you where you are and work with you to determine the most efficient and cost-effective payroll system for your unique situation.
Maybe you already have systems in place but you’re wondering…
What systems would be smart to outsource?
Great question! The answer depends on many variables. What skills does your current team have, how much is it costing you to maintain systems in-house, and what systems if outsourced would allow you and your team more time to spend building your business. Our goal is to help you answer those questions to ensure your business runs smoothly and has every opportunity to grow.

Or maybe you’re asking questions like…
Am I saving enough for retirement? Are my assets protected? Is my business structured properly?
Again, all great questions and ones that we can answer for you in our consultation.
But often the most important questions are the ones you don’t know to ask. I know this because I have seen many business owners in distress because they didn’t know what they didn’t know – so they didn’t know to ask.
Those are the questions I want to help you discover and do more than answer for you… my goal is to help educate you, create an actionable plan to safeguard you from what you may not know that could be crippling your financial future.
Let’s get to know each other.
Let’s explore how my business can help your business.
Let’s play golf together.
Don’t worry about ‘getting things in order’ first.

First, we will ensure you know the break-even point of your business. This one of the most important numbers in any business. Most businesses fail because the owner did not know how much it costs to run their particular business. We teach our clients how to calculate that number correctly. And even more importantly, how to cut costs, increase profitability without sacrificing service.
Yes and No. We can help you with cash flow analysis and ensuring that your business statements are accurate. We can’t provide a full business appraisal. You should consult a professional business appraiser that has experience in your particular industry.
No. This is the job of a lawyer. We don’t read or advise clients on contractual negotiations.
The only mistakes you can make is not providing the full picture or not following through on the tax advice we offer. It will all come out in the wash eventually. And it’s far less painful to show me the full picture than the IRS during an audit.
